What is an Annual General Meeting (AGM)?
Our AGM allows our members (undergraduate, graduate students, staff, faculty, and community members) to hear about how we have been working to make Concordia a more sustainable University, check-in about our finances and governance, and help us elect new members to our Board of Directors!
When is the AGM?
Our AGM’s take place in the Fall, sometime at the end of September or early October.
Where does your AGM take place?
Our last 3 AGM’s have taken place online. With all of our events, we will continue to evaluate having our AGM online or in person depending on health and accessibility considerations.
Who can come?
The AGM is open to all Concordia community members. Anyone who wants to play a more active role in the way Sustainable Concordia functions or learn more about the organization, and has some connection to Concordia. Check out our constitution to see if you are considered a member and, if so, your rights and responsibilities.
What is approved at the AGM?
The previous year’s AGM’s minutes, our coming year’s budget and new board members are the consistent points of voting at our AGM!
